Who were the Directors/Owners?
There were four directors / owners, all having equal shares and rights. In essence the management was composed of two couples, The Wright's and The Beaven's. The profiles below are taken from the original website pages.

The Sad Demise of....
With a career in finance Helen Beaven has been involved with several training and marketing projects. In 2002 she took part in Bristol Universities “CRAC Insight Into Management” course as group facilitator. Her role in the new company will be both Director and Company Secretary.
During this time undertaking stock control, customer service and supervisory roles. In the last 3 years he has undertaken various courses gaining qualifications in, Information Technology, Call Centre Customer Service, Karate and two languages (Spanish and Japanese). Nick teaches Shotokan Karate at the Soyoukan club as an assistant instructor.
Nick Beaven has worked in many service and production industries; his roles developing his skills, not only through his employment but also, at his own expense and time.
Marisa Wright works from home and has many links with the local organisations for people with disabilities. She also accompanies and supports Andy in the running of the Soyoukan Karate Club.
Her consultation advice, support and knowledge is an invaluable part of the success of the Centre. She also markets the centre with local and national groups raising grant funding to offer classes at reduced rates for people with disabilities.
Andy Wright took up Karate in 1984 after suffering a violent unprovoked attack; because of his disability he believes he was seen as an easy target. In 1989 he achieved his black belt.
He then continued to study and train in the art, achieving his 4th Dan and setting up and running a very successful Karate school (Soyoukan Karate Club). In connection with Martial Arts he has travelled the world (Russia, Australia, USA and Malta) teaching and gaining further skills.
