Who is Andy Wright

Born April 16 1961, Andy Wright spent his youth in Yate, Bristol, moving to Trowbridge, Wiltshire aged 17. During the school years he had attended Henleaze School, and later Thomas Delarue School in Kent.

Workwise, he spent a year with BRS road haulage and then eight years unemployed. At the height of the home computer boom (1989) he secured a job with Avon Tyres as a computer programmer in the Quality Assurance department. After five years he moved to the Careers Services of Wiltshire County Council, just before it was privatised.

Completion of an "CYQ instructing health related exercise to children" has been the main focus over the last few months, with the need to attend a weekend of workshops followed by the production of a video.

In 1998 he secured a field service job with DIGITAL (later taken over by COMPAQ / HP) before being made redundant after the takeover of the contract by SIEMENS in 2004.

Currently he is employed by Shaw Trust working with clients who have substance misuse issues.
